Rehberg Law Group PLLC Adopts New Tools to Support Clients with Visual Impairments

Estate planning should be accessible to all clients, including those who are blind or visually impaired. As awareness grows around the barriers people with disabilities face in the legal system, Rehberg Law Group, PLLC (RLG) is taking steps to ensure equal access to estate planning services. The attorneys are experienced in working with individuals with visual impairments and our firm is equipped to draft and explain estate planning documents—such as Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney—in clear, accessible formats sensitive to each client’s needs. When needed, we provide materials in accessible formats, such as screen-reader-compatible digital files ensuring every client fully understands their legal options. By prioritizing communication, informed consent, and accessibility, RLG empowers every individual to make confident, informed decisions about their estate planning and to take control of their legal and financial futures.

Accessible Technology in Action

·         Screen Reader Compatibility: Legal documents are optimized for screen readers such as NVDA, enabling visually impaired clients to independently access case details, review drafts, and navigate essential resources. Additionally, it is being used as a tool for draft reviews. This tool allows us to serve a broader and more inclusive client base.

RLG is not stopping here, we are committed to advancing accessibility for everyone. If you have feedback to guide future enhancements, please contact us. By embracing innovation, we’re not just meeting accessibility needs, we’re helping redefine the standard for inclusivity in the legal profession.
